Description

Once a large area of derelict ground and an historic estate of Ingress Abbey, now a new mixed development. The 29-hectare site started as a major clean-up programme, many features and materials were recycled and the Capability Brown parkland restored.
The framework plan focused on the site’s urban design opportunities and created eight distinct character areas reflecting the existing identities. The resulting landscape includes the creation of a waterfront path and associated spaces, waterside park, countryside linkages and areas of public realm of distinct character and quality augmented by the good choice of materials.
