The Indian School of Business
has hired Perkins Eastman,
working with the local firm
RSP Design Consultancy, to create its new
725,000-squarefoot campus in Mohali, located
on the edge of the rapidly developing Chandigarh
metropolitan area.
Designed to achieve LEED Gold, the complex
comprises academic blocks and small courtyards
covered by a canopy superstructure, with separate
clusters of residential buildings. The project broke
ground in April; an opening is slated for 2012.
