Steven Holl Architects has unveiled 
its preliminary design
for a new doctorate’s Building at the National University of
Colombia in Bogotá. Made of white high-performance
fiber-reinforced concrete, the 70,000-square-foot U-shaped
building will feature a range of sustainable strategies and
include labs, classrooms, offices, an auditorium, and a café.
The architects hope to begin construction in 2012.
